Description

The role involves taking responsibility for welcoming guests to the bar in a friendly and helpful manner, supervising the bar ensuring that all standards are met with attention to detail. As part of the role you will be expected to deliver amazing hospitality and ensure that all guest expectations are met. You will also supervise the team during the shift, allocating daily duties to the team and keeping them motivated. You will be required to deliver the pre-service briefings, manage the team rota and place orders with suppliers.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about beverage and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator, a hands on supervisor who has excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in a similar quality bar is required and knowledge of beverage is an advantage. You must have passion for hospitality and deliver service with a smile.

The hotel is located in the Mailbox, formerly the Royal Mail sorting office in the centre of Birmingham City. The 189 bedroom hotel established in 2002 also offers a brasserie with private dining rooms, meeting rooms, wine cellar, bar and le Petit Spa.
